Chauffeur Service vs Taxi in Bulgaria: What You Are Actually Paying For

A taxi is a transaction. A chauffeur service is an assignment. That distinction explains almost every difference travellers notice between the two in Bulgaria.

With a pre-booked chauffeur, a specific vehicle and a named driver are reserved for you at a specific time. The fare is fixed before you travel, the route is planned, and the company — not an individual driver — is accountable for the outcome.

Vetting is the part guests never see. Our chauffeurs hold professional licences, undergo background checks, and are trained in defensive driving, luggage handling and discretion. They are formally dressed and they do not take other work mid-assignment.

For arrivals, flight tracking is decisive. A taxi rank does not know your flight number. We do, and your pickup time moves automatically when your schedule does.

If you are travelling on business, the paperwork matters too: itemised VAT invoices, monthly consolidated billing and cost-centre reporting are simply not available from a street hail.
